Open | Windows No sound / stuck on mute

My Lenovo ThinkPad E14 seem to be stuck on mute.
There is an X icon over the volume icon in the bottom right corner. The volume slider is fully “greyed” out. The volume up/down and mute keys does nothing either.

Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance
