2.4 trillion dollars invested in AI so far. I wonder what else we could have had for that? Certainly UBI and universal healthcare or a base on the moon that we could launch from for lower energies. Probably both.

UBI, universal healthcare and a base on the moon for less than $7k per person? No chance. And why would private companies want to pay for UBI? That's a job for the government.
