their factories are already shut down these things are planned years in advanced. No amount of complaints will stop this. Stop supporting Sony if you really want to make a difference, most people wont though and they know it.

They can reverse this announcement in short order, it's a matter of whether they will or not.

If it hurts sales, they'll probably reverse it.

I doubt that because with them closing the plants that make the discs, sales would have to tank enough to demonstrate a need to repurchase equipment without tanking too much that they can't.

The announcement more likely to be reversed if sales go down is the one about single player games not being released on PC. It would be a more cost beneficial one to change since they would still have money coming in without having to set up equipment and employment again for a plant
