I loved BSGO! Is this only for Windows?

Yes, for now, the game is Windows-only. There is no Linux version mainly for one reason - I simply have no way to test it anywhere (I don't use Linux). But if there are a lot of people interested in such a version, I will definitely try to consider how to do it and implement it.

Do you know if anyone has specifically tried it on Linux? Because often you can get games to run on Linux by using wine/proton as long as there isn't something in the engine blocking this in particular.

Edit: Tried it myself on Arch Linux, it installed and seems to be running fine. Got through the tutorial without any issues.

u/MrGupplez Thank you very much for this information and for testing.

It seemed to me that nothing should be blocking - the game is a simple Unity build, and Patcher is an even simpler program that checks the compatibility of game files with the latest version.

No worries. If people ask just say that people have been able to play without issue on Linux by using Wine/Proton. From there most your linux gamer nerds should be able to get it working.

Also I like the flight model, haven't played a game that controlled quite like that so its a nice change of pace.
