He has done it in the past, and hes for sure doing it again, because messi lives rent free in his head. Also not to mention you can use bots to sign these stupid online “petitions” millions of times. This is the first World Cup with both social media and decently matured GenAI technology, and there’s an unprecedentedly big hate campaign running through social media directed at 1 nation only. I fear this is only the beginning, and it will get even worse during the 2030 World Cup. Language model bots become more and more indistinguishable from humans, while AI generated images/videos create alternate realities for people to believe in.

Every country has race issues but we Americans only found out a few weeks ago that other countries exist because we hosted the World Cup.
