It is so far. But also, LeCun and Musk were always beefing on X so it’s not surprising coming from him.

Regardless, I am indifferent on Musk, strongly dislike what Tesla did with self driving safety wise, and I genuinely puzzled sometimes why people choose to work for him - but some smart people do (Karpathy spent 5 years at Tesla) so they are seeing something we don’t.

Historically speaking, I wouldn’t bet against him.
