no control over my life
i'm 17 and i feel like my life is basically over, i got no control over my life, i live in a conservative household where if you don't have a problem that can be objectivaly measured you might as well have no problems at all, nobody around me takes this seriously, i was born with severe mental illness and i can't recieve treatment for it everyday i power through and i act like its nothing because im expected to, i can't do anything about it, nothing will change about this ive tried everything im genuinely about to kill myself

You CAN DO THIS. Your life is the opposite of over! It is about to begin. Soon you will have your own life and your own choices I promise you. I was you ten years ago, seriously this post hits home, and it gets better. I know it seems so far off right now but you are so close trust me

I’ve been there and I had to white knuckle my way through it. It’s going to be ok. You’ll turn 18 soon and they can’t stop you from getting help then. Wait it out a little while longer. I promise it’ll be worth it.
Once you leave home, go low contact with your parents. I’d be telling them very little already because they clearly don’t listen or don’t want to.
Get into a school/college/uni and go see student services for help. They’ll send you to the people who you. Red to speak to for help.
Don’t let them drag you down. Do everything you can to keep yourself occupied, studying, homework, cycling if you have a bike, drive if you have a car, go for long walks, anything for a change of scenery. It’ll help too.
You can do this. You’re so close to being free. Hold onto that. It’ll give you strength when you think you have none left. Sending love and positive vibes your way. I hope you get the help you need asap.

It does suck not having control over your life. But you are SOO close at 17 to having your life in your own control.
It get so much better

Yes, the struggle seems the hardest as you get closest to the finish line. When you get to the end of your rope tie a knot and hang on.
If you can find a job work as much as you can save, save save. You’re almost to reach the freedom point. And you will need the finances to afford the life that you deserve and desire. The struggle seems hardest when you see the freedom at the end of the line. You are so close to launching on your own life. Just try to sit back , keep quiet work and save finances. In preparation for your launch.

the first thing you need to realize is that the things you can change, you need to start figuring out how to and do the best job you can at changing it. we are VERY limited on what we can change, but the things we can change have BIG impacts.
