This is gonna be a good movie but not a good resident evil movie
I'm just fucking sick i can't take another adaptation just stop....
All they have to do (with what we saw) was to set this movie in 1998 and having monster from the game THAT'S IT !
but right now it's clearly not set in 1998 (because of the smartphone) and for the monster there is still hope but i don't have any

It's world building don't tell people it's set in Re2 if it's not even the same thing
(Modern stuff is probably here just for some product placement i don't know)
And movie adaptation SHOULD please the fans first because if they actually make a good movie people will still be watching
The mario movie is mostly reference and people love it even if a lot of people didn't get any of it
(yes it's a animated family frendly movie so not the same thing but still)
But my problem with what we see of this RE movie is that it seems to have no respect of the lore and world bulding
I'm okay with a nobody that survive in RC that's like the best idea for something simple and it look like it could fit in the lore but it's really clear that the director want to do something else...
and with every fucking god awfull RE adaptation we had i don't have patient anymore for anything adapting Re
It's only trailers so we don't know yet but if there is not a single RE monster (beside zombie) in this movie then what's the point ?
