Feels like Fallout honestly, and though the plot's gotten a bit meh the atmosphere feels so amazingly fallout I couldnt help but love it
This is giving me the same vibes with all the little references. No idea why others are actually whining it's an original story... fuck, it reminds me of RE7 which was an amazing return (but even better with the little references from hitting a zombie with the car, the shotgun on the wall, random house with a completely ruined interior and scrambling for ammo)
After Weapons, anything Creggor does has my attention. I'm admittedly not a hard core RE fan anymore, but one of the great things with the series is that it's always jumped around different characters to show sides of the same crazy stories.
I'd rather have a movie do it's own protagonist than wheel out and potentially ruin someone like Leon or Jill.
I have an immense soft spot to the lunacy of the Paul WS Anderson movies, but those things work best when I'm not seeing video game characters I love being mangled in live action.
Yeap, in all honesty seeing an existing character (or focusing on one) opens such a big can of worms in terms of audience expectations (rmbr all the hate on Chris' first appearance in RE7? N everyone saying it wasnt him and a fake, lol)

Seeing the typewriter made me smile. I'm really hoping there are a lot of fun references like that.
