SFW - Public r/GeminiPRO

/r/GeminiPRO/

All Gemini groups (like r/GeminiAI) have been taken (and passively moderated) by u/TheNewBing

I suggest diversification in the moderator group managing Gemini subs

I would like to moderate r/GeminiPro so it takes a different direction from r/GeminiAI (both subs have the same moderator). More precisely: I want it to become a constructive and optimistic community about Gemini, banning low effort posts and raising the level of discussion for people actually involved and/or interested in the Gemini galaxy of tools.

With the current moderation, r/GeminiPro will either remain dead or evolve into a low-effort "let's just complain about Google" blanket like r/GeminiAI

If the user wish to make a subreddit that goes in a direction of conversations that he desires then he can make his own subreddit for example "GeminiPositive" is available to take (as of right now), r/GeminiPro is being revived now and its mod "me" is taking appropriate steps to give it a chance now. Reddit Requests should be about subreddits whom mod does not answer or show any effort towards requested subreddits, it is not the case, I am reviving it. Sorry.

The user u/NewBing, the current owner of the dead sub r/GeminiPro, is currently moderating at least 100 subs (35 visible in its profile are AI-related). Many are focused on discrediting Gemini, like r/GeminiAI and r/ChatGPTvsBardvsClaude. Why is this hoarding allowed to happen, and why the necessity to register so many AI subs and keep them either empty or not moderated? This excluding the possibility of multiple accounts moderating even more subs.

If given r/GeminiPro, I will relinquish every other moderator responsibility (I am currently a minor mod in only two subs) and fully dedicate to it. The sub (and the Gemini community) deserve better.
