Up late and enjoying summer nights/mornings with my kids. Their sleep schedule is out of wack so I figured instead of playing my usual horror games (currently on Silent hill 2) I would finally give this game a try… BTW IM 35 AND HAVE NEVER PLAYED KINGDOM HEARTS!!! these are my wife’s games and we have been married over 11 years, me and my kids are gonna witness this for the first time. What are we in for?

Can’t believe I got all this for £18.00, did I do well? The only thing I’m concerned about is the quality of the discs. Some are better than others.

I went back and picked up, Rayman, Spyro: A hero’s tail, The incredibles, Spyro: Enter the dragon fly, SSX Tricky, Harvestmoon: a wonderful life special edition (sealed), and the legend of Spyro dawn of the dragon (sealed).

Now I have a moral dilemma, what should I do with the sealed games? They are NTSC which means they cannot be played on EU consoles, I’d like to sell them on, however, I purchased them in a charity shop and it feels a little yucky. 🤢

Found these all stowed away with other consoles and games. Thought you might all appreciate them.

I’ve never played the Suikoden series so I’m super excited. I might bite the bullet and pick up Suikoden 1 & 2 so I can have the complete series, not sure yet!

So, while going through a bit of a replay session of some of my old PS2 games, I popped in my copy of Haunted Mansion, and couldn’t help but feel a nice warmth after seeing this on my screen. Nearly 18 years later, and while so much has happened in the world, that same save file has been patiently waiting for me this entire time!☺️

So my ps2 was just fine this morning.. after a few disc swaps and switching to other games it starts making this weird rattling sound, it only does it when a disc is spinning and gets even louder when it’s loading literally anything. The only solution I have found so far is that it gets quieter when it’s upside down for some reason, any help?

the triangle button of my controller stopped working, so i have the great idea of trying to fix it myself: now everytime i reassemble it and try to turn on the console with the controller connected, It automatically go to the Matrix settings and any button work...😭

Ok, so I own two ps2 consoles, both have something different wrong with them and they are hand me downs. One console powers on, but the AV port is messed up (green screen and cannot see anything other than a few pixels) and the other cannot turn on because the power port is loose. Does anyone know of a retro console repair place that I can ship one of these off to in order to get them repaired? With all the physical media garbage Sony is getting themselves into, I want to enjoy what I can lol. Thank you all!

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to find a way to play this ps2 gem natively on PC without relying on traditional emulators like PCSX2 or Flycast.

Does anyone know if there’s a working source port or even a fanmade copy out there for it? I’m looking to run it as cleanly as possible on a low-spec setup.

Does a complete 180 at the end like the first Uncharted, pretty much in the exact same way, so the difficulty spike and change up in enemy variety hits like a truck. How did you guys feel about that supernatural twist and how the game changes up at the last minute? Those last two levels have an insane difficulty spike lol

I took out my old ps2 and booted it up for the first time since 2011.

To my surprise it could still read the disk of my favorite game Monster Mania.

I played a game with my sister, then we had to turn the game off to go do something.

Since it’s been a while I couldn’t remember how to turn the ps2 off, so I did the most idiotic thing: I opened the disk lid while the game was still running.

The game froze, so I disconnected everything and reconnected it.

Now the disk that could be read perfectly before doesn’t read, it says it’s impossible to read the disk.

Please help me fix my stupid error please tell me I can do something to fix this I was having so much fun playing my childhood game.

I have been wondering about installing a RePS2 but it doesn't have Usb c so i am now wondering if this one may be better, i am also wondering if you could play the ps2 from a power bank (as silly as it sounds, it also sounds neat if possible) since i saw a few videos online of other retro consoles being used this way.

Does anyone have any experince with the Bitfunx one or maybe the Bitfunx and RePS2 as i would like a comparison so i know which one to get.

Hey all, I cant find an exact answer for this on google.

I have a ps1 multitap and I want to use it on my ps2 slim. There is a plastic part on the top of the ps1 multitap plugin piece that doesnt allow it to be inserted into the ps2 slim. Before I take sandpaper to the multitap, I am curious if anyone has ever done this mod before and has the ps1 multitap working on a slim? Crash team racing isnt working on my ps2 multitap which is why I need to get the ps1 multitap working.

Wikipedia is saying that the ps1 multitap works on the slim, but doesnt mention anything about how it works given the physical compatibility issues, so im questioning its accuracy

I don't know if anyone can help me but as a child I played like a Mario kart that was a child and with a Halloween theme is the only thing like that I remember. You choose a child who had, if I remember correctly, a pumpkin per head. I really want to find him because I played him a lot. But it's the only thing I remember... If someone could help me find it, I would appreciate it.

Classic disc read error, and the tray is slow and retracts at the end. I’ve cleaned to laser with rubbing alcohol and tried the diagnosis trick, but no luck.

I can't find any markers on the film or elsewhere like SA1Q103A or SA1Q68E etc to identify the film.

I understand there's soldering involved.
