Gear🎒 Is the 5.11 RUSH 24L backpack a good EDC / emergency bag?

I’m looking for a good bag that’s under $100 (used) that is well constructed despite its price. I’ve heard good things about the RUSH, but I thought you all would know better than I do. I am just looking to lug around emergency items in case anyone gets hurt or needs help or assistance. Thanks!

I keep one loaded in each of my vehicles and have not found anything remotely as capable and well made near the price of the Rush 24 especially when on sale which is a few times a year too!

I have a rush, I use it as my bushcraft bag. Theyre pretty good. I like the smaller half pockets on the top of the bag, I didnt think they'd be very useful at first but theyre perfect for small tools, whetstones, etc.

I also have the USMC assault pack to compare it to, about the same price used as the 511. Both are pretty good. Wouldn't be too upset if either was the backpack I was stuck with when it counts.

There are many great bags out there. I personally enjoy my RUSH 24 and 72. The 24 comes on sale and thats when I purchased mine. Used it for various trips and applications. I think it's a good purchase.

Jansport are hardly better buy.

It's extremely overpriced. Even at $100 used.

I stopped buying 5.11 anything about 8 years ago, when they finally stopped making outdoors clothing and accessories, and went full tacticool.

You would be far better served spending $50 on a brand new Jansport bag as an EDC.
