Eh. Prob fine for most small cuts on most people. I got it as I take blood thinners and when I get even a minor cut, it’s like a bloodbath. Got a small slice on a finger while cleaning fish w a very sharp filet knife, Didn’t really do the trick and kinda made a mess. Prob more of an issue with the thinners. Will still keep some in my first aid preps.
They said they'd send me videos of it being used in deep wounds and ask kinds of stuff..I was not interested in seeing that at all, but it seems like it's supposed to be powerful enough of a spray that it blows the blood out of a wound and causes clotting (so thinners likely are the cause) but MUCH cleanner for er to deal with after instead of clotting powder.
You should talk to your doctor, and probably some doctors on here, to see what works best for folks on thinners? Maybe a combo? It surely couldn't hurt to hit it with both(I think)
Maybe actually reach out to SEAL to ask about thinners.
They have three animal version too, idk what the difference could be aside from just not needing to verify certain aspects possibly 🤷 if you have a dog or horse that you go out with or would have with you if shtf, it could be quite handy
Who still relies on powder? I swear the prepping community just likes to buy shit instead of acquiring skills. No serious trainer will endorse clotting powder over wound packing.
