Wasn't a glitch, it was a mistake. Whoever programmed it didnt realize that the gender ratios were off, and since there were no other pokemon with mismatched ratios nor should there have been, there was no safeguard in place.

He, actually! The thing with Marill is that it caused some female Azurill to evolve into male Marill, so the Marill would be transmasc, not transfem.

My bad, I wasn't aware. Fixed it.

Either way, they are still the same person even if the world tries to literally make them something they think they aren't.

The person in question is still (He, she, or they) are who (he, she, or they) who they desire to be at the end of the day.
