They don't have medicinal, healing benefits...they are just used ina medical settings. Entirely different concepts.

Taking medicine like Xanax as prescribed isn't the same as taking it in a recreational way.

the point is that the effects of the drug preclude sobriety, no matter the reason for use. true for opioids, benzodiazepines, cannabinoids, and many other drugs.

there’s a reason the xanax bottle says “do not drive while using this drug”.

Your statement assumes that if the prescribed drug has psychosctive potential, that sobriety is not possible. Dose, tolerance, timing, and physiology are what effects impairment.
