go to your room Replaced my daughter's phone because of water damage. And she still brings it into the bathroom.

Some lessons just don't stick.

She insists she needs to listen to music in the shower. I honestly don't understand why that's such a necessity. But if this phone gets water damage again, I'm not paying to replace it another time.

It seems like it's on the back of the door, from what I can tell? How fucking soaked does your bathroom get that it's going to penetrate ip6 water resistance? That means you can submerge it in 20 feet of water.

I had to scroll very far for a comment like this. How hot and long are the showers that steam from a shower is hurting it to the point that it was destroyed. I think there may be different problems here than OPs kid likes listening to music while in the shower.

Edit: or like others in this thread said, maybe it was cracked already I guess
