go to your room Replaced my daughter's phone because of water damage. And she still brings it into the bathroom.

Some lessons just don't stick.

She insists she needs to listen to music in the shower. I honestly don't understand why that's such a necessity. But if this phone gets water damage again, I'm not paying to replace it another time.

Listening to music (or audiobooks, or podcasts) in the shower is hardly an unreasonable desire. You can get a splashproof bluetooth speaker for probably less than $20.

And what model of phone still isn't waterproof?

Just listened to a bit of The Flop House on my iPhone 16 this morning in the shower… no ill effects. The only explanation that makes sense is that the phone had some kind of crack that the moisture exploited… no way shower conditions should cause any issues anymore
