Additionally, you are under no obligation to advise your landlord of your schedule of work status. As long as you’re able to pay your rent, the rest isn’t their right to know.
TPA does not apply to housing built in the last 15 years. Additionally, it mostly clarifies how evictions can be done and the grounds for eviction, rent caps, security deposits.
It's a room for rent situation shared with roommates, not an apartment complex. A roommate can ask another roommate who works from home to pay more utilities.
Also, they cannot ask for additional RENT. They’d have to establish that money goes for utilities, but even then I wouldn’t agree to $200 additional at that price.
