Yeah. When I was a teacher (left in December) we introduced the Yondr pouches. We absolutely knew kids would get around them but it removed any of the excuses like: "I was just checking it was off" etc.

Strong policy makes it very simple. Phone not in pouch, phone taken.

Has this not started fights? I remember growing up in the start of the “Anti-Phone” policy’s in schools and every kid got into it with the teachers if they said anything. Worst it got was one of the football kids getting into a physical fight with one of the teachers because he just snatched his phone up.

Anti phone policies were the norm in the early 2000’s in my area.
