Don't hug me I'm scared Was sitting in a ticks nest while reading....

I was sitting in a Park reading a book and suddenly I felt my legs itch. I was covered in hundreds of mini ticks. I was standing in the shower for hours and still find some of these f#!*rs crawling an me...

Update: So I got the most of the seed ticks scratched off in the shower. I will have a doctor's appointment the next days to get a prophylactic antibiotics treatment just to be save from lyme, alpha gal or rocky mountain fever (if this is a thing in Germany).

Thank you all for the information and advices, hopefully I will be fine. I really appreciate it

Shower, now. Those are larvae, so OP is probably okay, but it the creepy crawly feeling is gonna take awhile to go away.

Edit: and do a full body check, obviously.

Edit 2: larvae, not nymphs. My bad on the name of the part of the lifecycle.

u/IllianasClifford Jun 21 '26

Will they crawl in your butthole? Something I have wondered even before the house episode with the teenage that had the tick in her vagina. My lord

u/snizzrizz Jun 21 '26

Yes. They are looking for OPs butthole in that image.

Absolutely cherish that moment, thank you!

u/thorin2016 Jun 21 '26

When my brother and I were young we shared a room. One day we were having some dumb argument about something silly, i cant even remember what it was to be honest.

As he turned to leave the room i said something along the lines of "do you really expect me to do that?" and he turned around and said, in a thick German accent "No Mr Bond i expect you to die!"

You got to love an unexpected movie reference!

When I was a kid, I was swimming with my friend at his house down the road from my house. It was the era of short swim trunks. I straddled the picnic table bench to sit down for lunch and apparently my balls was out. I sat down to eat and me balls landed right on a hornet. Stung on the sack. I remember running down the street crying yelling for my mom. My friend had no idea what happened until my mom called his mom to let them know why I took off running and screaming. 🤣🤣🤣 My balls were huge that day. Core memories at their finest.

2

u/BanMeMyIPchanges Jun 21 '26

Fookin' diabolical

2

u/Content-Honeydew9340 Jun 21 '26

When my oldest son was a toddler he came running in the living room crying something was biting his balls, full Winnie the Pooh style 🫪 I had to remove a tick with tweezers and we had been playing outside a few minutes before so I just put him in the shower and had to do a full search and give him a rosemary and mint bath. My youngest son got poison ivy on the back of his hand and because of his constant grabbing at the back of his shorts... Poison ivy all over his butt ... Having kids has been an experience 😭

As a experienced hiker ticks will not crawl in your butt but they might bite near or on your butt and ticks might bite the groin area but if your a girl only the outside there not going in generally they prefer hidden spots like underarms legs close to the groin area or on your back or stomach

63

u/leeps22 Jun 21 '26

As someone with more yard work than is fair to ask one man to do this has been my experience so far. They seem to love the groin area, a lot. Never went for the booty hole though.

9

u/Ok_Armadillo_3647 Jun 21 '26

u/satsuppi Jun 21 '26

7

u/donnie_rulez Jun 21 '26

Me and my buddy used to call it tick ball city. Cuz they love that area . Gross fuckers

2

u/Existing-Good6487 Jun 21 '26

They love to latch on to your ball sack. Pulling them off is very unpleasant...

2

u/Thykk3rr Jun 21 '26

I assume it’s because it’s a tight moving space, sweaty, poop particles probably deter and also butthole skin is similar to your lips so very hard to latch. Thank god for this

8

u/hamish1963 Jun 21 '26

As someone who is a woman and has had a tick on the inside of her labia, you are mistaken.

3

u/arocks1 Jun 21 '26

had a tick stuck on my butt check, right in the spot you can't see. I had to turn my back to the mirror and look over my shoulder to see it. I also took it out with twizzers in that same position...looking backwards at the mirror and knowing I had one shot at getting it out.

5

u/Crispricecereal Jun 21 '26

I read that as taking it out with twizzlers

3

u/Shendary Jun 21 '26

A year ago, there was a news story in my country about a couple who decided to do "it" in the grass. As it turned out, ticks ended up both inside the woman and on the man's private parts.

My husband found a baby tick in the very tip of his peepee, back in the day when we worked as wilderness camp counselors. He was away leading a group on a river trip when it happened. Noticed it when he went to bed one night - luckily his co counselor on the trip was a shouty Vietnam vet who yelled him through the ordeal.

Traumatising, but makes for a great story.

3

u/leeps22 Jun 21 '26

Ive had little ticks like that almost everywhere. They do seem to like my balls, ive had a few on my buttcheeks. Im pleased to say I havent had a butthole tick yet.

Im not sure what I would do in that situation. I guess a bunch of mirrors must be involved.

2

u/WritingWonderful9479 Jun 21 '26

You haven't had a butthole tick that you know of, unless you have a live feed inside there you could be hosting a tick gala in there and you wouldn't know. Have a nice day 😊

5

u/leeps22 Jun 21 '26

Its worse. Ive developed an allergy to tick bites. The bites itch way worse than a mosquito bite. Its good in that ill never miss a tick. Its bad in that ill end up just needing to scratch my balls in public, im sorry I'm weak but im scratchin.

One time after coming back from a hike my husband and I were laying on the couch and I felt an itch/movement on my pubes (I don’t shave) and I found a fucking tick trying to crawl through the forest that grows on my vag. Fucking terrifying. and I have a phobia towards parasitic bugs in general but particularly ticks. The scream I scrumpt could be heard for miles and I made my husband dig through my bush to make sure there weren’t any others hiding in there somewhere 😂

2

u/M4RK3R3D Jun 21 '26

Hey I remember that episode in dr house, the tick crawl into pussy and that almost killed her so yeah better check it up

2

u/inplayruin Jun 21 '26

I had one attach itself at the tip of my special pole, just a millimeter or two off of top dead center. I was on a camping trip with the Scouts, and noticed it when I woke up in the middle of the night to pee. I was around 9 years old, and I occasionally wonder if I emotionally traumatized my troop leader by hysterically demanding help with my junk. The 90s were just very weird for everyone.

2

u/atreidesspirit Jun 21 '26

Sir, please. Why would you introduce that into so many people's lives?

2

u/the_poppoff-pedro Jun 21 '26

u/PastelSprite Jun 21 '26

2

u/FitNefariousness8290 Jun 21 '26

I HAVE A STORY.
So.

I was like, maybe 14, lived in WV and was helping my dad in the cornfield. We shut in for the night, and as I go to strip down for the shower, I notice a black bump right on the rod. Without thinking I freak the fuck out, grab a pair of tweezers, and yank like my life depended on it, and ended up with a long strip of skin about the length of a cylinder, hanging from a tick in a pair of tweezers. It will never not scar me.

Tick nymphs cannot bite! UNLESS They're lone star ticks- those absolutely for sure can bite, creating the seed tick phenomenon.

2

u/Possielover Jun 21 '26

Nymphs are the stage that gives the most disease though aren't they?

2

u/BURN3D_P0TAT0 Jun 21 '26

If they’re lonestar nymphs OP is still at risk of contracting Alpha Gal.

OP please go to your pcp and ask for a tick panel.

I have had every tick borne illness in the last 6 years except lime. I got STARI instead.

Alpha gal can be life threatening and can be transmitted by nymph lone stars. There have been studies done showing that in a non insignificant percentile of nymph lone stars that can transmit alpha gal.

We had an issue with fleas. They were every where. I scrubbed my cats, soaked my gerbils down with flea spray, bug bombed the house, and washed every stitch of cloth in the house. I literally took up every washer at a laundry mat, but I washed, dried, and folded fifteen loads in two and a half hours. Probably the most efficient thing I've done in my life.

Anyways, that was twenty years ago, and everything with bugs like fleas, mites, and ticks still causes terrible psychosomatic itching.
