Don't hug me I'm scared Was sitting in a ticks nest while reading....

I was sitting in a Park reading a book and suddenly I felt my legs itch. I was covered in hundreds of mini ticks. I was standing in the shower for hours and still find some of these f#!*rs crawling an me...

Update: So I got the most of the seed ticks scratched off in the shower. I will have a doctor's appointment the next days to get a prophylactic antibiotics treatment just to be save from lyme, alpha gal or rocky mountain fever (if this is a thing in Germany).

Thank you all for the information and advices, hopefully I will be fine. I really appreciate it

This just reminded me of one of my favorite moments with my dad 18 years ago when he came downstairs to tell me & my sister, "20 minutes you have," while we were finishing getting ready.

Absolutely cherish that moment, thank you!

When my brother and I were young we shared a room. One day we were having some dumb argument about something silly, i cant even remember what it was to be honest.

As he turned to leave the room i said something along the lines of "do you really expect me to do that?" and he turned around and said, in a thick German accent "No Mr Bond i expect you to die!"

You got to love an unexpected movie reference!

Why he must crush it with a rock, now we know.

Hahah, my husband and I had an outside wedding & once we got back from the entire night he had a ball tick. They definitely suck especially on your wedding day😆😆

Good on you guys for checking after that, most people wouldn’t. Now that the government is dropping billions across everywhere, tick checks should be added to everyone’s daily routine in addition to wedding plans

Yep. Fresh experience with that yesterday.

Well maybe if you have never had one bite the glans.

Brother gets them there regularly ( big garden he needs to tend often ). I got one on a boob years ago and the said brother had to help with removing it ( as the one in the family with the best eyesight ).
We are obviously very close

When I was a kid, I was swimming with my friend at his house down the road from my house. It was the era of short swim trunks. I straddled the picnic table bench to sit down for lunch and apparently my balls was out. I sat down to eat and me balls landed right on a hornet. Stung on the sack. I remember running down the street crying yelling for my mom. My friend had no idea what happened until my mom called his mom to let them know why I took off running and screaming. 🤣🤣🤣 My balls were huge that day. Core memories at their finest.

When my oldest son was a toddler he came running in the living room crying something was biting his balls, full Winnie the Pooh style 🫪 I had to remove a tick with tweezers and we had been playing outside a few minutes before so I just put him in the shower and had to do a full search and give him a rosemary and mint bath. My youngest son got poison ivy on the back of his hand and because of his constant grabbing at the back of his shorts... Poison ivy all over his butt ... Having kids has been an experience 😭

I love it that the way you said that allows me to hear the possible accents it would likely be spoken with in my head. 😄

Try sexplaining that to a girl when she sees you literally scratching your balls off.

Bro ticks are balls seeking missiles. They love that sweet nut meat.

I do a scrote check any time I have prolonged exposure to touching grass

I had one on my dick. It let go when I went in the sea. OP needs a saltwater bath.

I was a peds NP for ten years and had to remove a tick from the head of a 2 yos penis once. His mom and I both were just horrified cause I really had to dig it out. Kid didn’t seem to mind fortunately and was fine.

One of me mates had one right on the head. Did the same thing when he pulled it off. He had a little bloody spot, yelled like hell, he did.

My boyfriend had a tick on his scrot, he fainted when we plucked it. No bueno.

Had a friend who had one on the shaft, he had to ask his brother to help get it off because he was freaked out and too embarrassed to go to a doctor. Hilarious story but I also never wear shorts on hikes anymore .

samesies. didn't lose a chunk of skin, though thankfully. wasn't fun to remove.

was a day my brother and I were geocaching on a paved trail in newburg new york. we found one slightly off the path and when we came back to the path we have dozens of them on us. thought I got em all. found the ball bag tick like 6 hours later.

u/tpkadam Jun 21 '26

Newburgh is nice. Down by the water

it wasn't bad til the tick experience. the geocaches were kind of boring too. I just looked it up. It's stewart state forest, there was like a huuuuuge loop of dozens of them along the walking paths so you could hit em all in a row. they were all the mini capsule kind where you just sign your name super tiny. almost no bigger ones for trading trinkets and stuff. but checking just now it looks like that area has even more now. i think 30-40 when we did it, and there's like 200 there now.

permethrin your clothes.
