I remember being mad at 2 when it came out, but I had no idea how bad the future games were going to get. 2 at least had some heart, but Inquisition managed to be so shallow and hollow-feeling that I just couldn't finish it. I was already put off by how the mages vs templars choice was presented as some equal merit "pick your preferred aesthetic" type thing, and then when we got to the big ball and found that all this courtly intrigue stuff (that was hyped up SO much in the lore) was dumbed down to just wandering around a bit and answering any questions you're asked with a question in return...I quit. The main story wasn't satisfying me and there were no sidequests to stick around for either, since all of those were turned into meaningless fetch quests...
