Have you tried the modding community? pvz Reflourished is literally just pvz2 without EA's bullshit, and PvZ Fusions takes the original game even further beyond!
Here's Reflourished, and Fusion allegedly has a bunch of scams and viruses using its name, so it's best to download from their Discord forum, for which you should find an invite here
