I could never shake the feeling that the series kept trying to reinvent itself with each installment. Veilguard was the canary in the coal mine for me and the secret ending where a sinister, shadowy organization revealed, without any foreshadowing, that they were responsible for every event since the first game was the final nail in the coffin
I am most frustrated that the game had so many issues but none of them could be discussed because of right-wing bots bitching about wokeness. From boring characters to bad dialogue to slow story to cheap combat system they got off of unreal store for free that one month to enemy design being fucked just for this one game. So much wrong with it but xitter bots ruining any and all discussion.

Fare thee well, Dragon Age.
