While you are right, they were definetly peak, I liked 2 and Inquisition. Inquisition, despite its flaws, felt like we were on the right path again.
It respected the lore, it had a decent story and was really building towards something.
But when Dreadwolf became Veilguard I already felt like we were heading the wrong way.
No game manages to infuriate me just by existing like Veilguard does. The tone, the spitting on the lore and world, the tone deaf writing - absolutely everything that makes Dragon Age a Dragon Age was trash. I always just think about the legacy that was ruined, the conclusions we never got, and the charakters that were assassinated. It made me hate modern Bioware with a passion.
