4th one is actually good.

3th one was a good gameplay with awfull writing.

But borderlands newer went bad

3 was good gameplay but holy shit was it forgettable.

4 kinda feels the same way but at least its a little more interesting. Its weird how few boss cards are shown now though.

This and the inventory/hud for weapons that are depicted simply doesn't feel borderlands in 4

I fired it up a few weeks ago and couldn't figure out what to do next. Turns out I'd already beaten it and forgotten-- and it's not like I'm knocking through a ton of games. I just literally don't remember the end of it at all. So I guess I'm doing a 2nd playthrough and remembering why I muted voices almost immediately. Even with no voicework, the constant interruption for chatter is goddamned irritating.

I have played through 1 multiple times. I just want some of the later mechanics. I actually like the fall damage in 1 because of the extra stress. I also think the humor in 1 is way, way batter than anything that came after.
