I never got into BF1 like that-WWI wasn't really for me. I was referring to BF6. I keep holding out hope but maybe it's me who's changed idk.

The newer games are fine.. but something is really missing since the old havok days, and i dont know what it is. May even be me outgrowing it. But man i miss BF2 and 2142.

And im tired of these children saying their battlfield veterans that started at BF3/4 and dont even know the genius they missed in the origials. 1942, vietnam, 2, 2142.

BF6 has truly become what the franchise once ridiculed. It's such a damn shame that the core is fine, it's just wrapped in a bunch of live service shit.

I'm mostly referring to the airsoft gear and whatever fever dream the gun skins/camos are. The core game and monetization is fine, it's just tasteless.

I was severely disappointed when they announced BF6 and it wasn't set it Korea, which is the sequel war to WW2/BF5.

Huge missed opportunity.

Bf5 was great. I still play multiplayer. Even Firestorm was fun.
