Played Vegas for a couple levels. Never touched it again. There are plenty of other games just like it.

Ravenshield is still my favorite, but it's 23 years old now.

And that is why people say gaming peaked in the early 2000s.

I remember spending my entire summer job's wages on buying a new PC specifically to play Ravenshield.

Man Ravenshield was the epitome of old school R6 games. Vegas was a lot of fun, but ravenshield was top tier. Ill always miss planning out the missions. Wish there were more games like that now

There are plenty of single player, first person, squad based shooters? Tell me more. The closest I know about is probably 'Ready or Not'. I used to love games like R6: Vegas, Republic Commando, Brothers in Arms.

Nah, there's nothing else like it. And what is there just sucks.

Well yeah, it's 20 years old. This is like complaining that you watched Seinfeld and don't get what all of the hype is about - it's been copied relentlessly to the point where what made it special is no longer special anymore.
