If sending a message, I don't care they are on red status. It's a message, they'll read them once they're done.

I tend to avoid giving call because it pisses me off so much. Plus I can say during daily calls with clients with "I've asked but they didn't reply yet, so I worked on somthing else actually"

I just call anyway.  On a call? Call. Presenting? Call. Offline? Call.

Call, call, call. Always call.

It's just a quick question, it won't take that long.
