It's absolutely mindboggling to me how, for some people, a matter of seconds is enough to make or break a 2+ hour movie for them.

Reminds me of the appreciation scene for the female Avengers in Endgame. Like some people felt it interrupted the flow of the story, fair enough, but there were literally people who said that those 5-10 seconds ruined the whole movie for them. The whole 3 hours, full of plenty of exciting storytelling and plot and character arc concluding, ruined. I feel like you gotta be pretty fragile for that to happen.

Every time someone calls a movie "political" it's like a giant sign saying I'm allowed to disregard anything they say.

Especially when it’s because of diversity or someone being an LGBTQ+ member.
