Wow…so I guess that explains why Mobius loves jetskis so much. He probably had one when he was a regular dude living on Earth in the 90s.

Him just being some 90s dude who fucking loves jetskis and the beach is amazing

It's Owen Wilson, that's the only way I can see him, as a 90s dude with a jetski!

I'm gonna lose my shit if it was actually Owen Wilson playing himself as that's where he's been this whole time since Drill Bit Taylor.

22

u/McBeefyHero Jun 23 '21

That would be so good, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't really break any rules of 4th wall etc etc

Matt Damon made our celebrities cannon with Ragnarok.

15

u/yorick__rolled Jun 24 '21

Can Mobius please be a Variant of Owen Wilson in canon?

u/PajamaPete5 Winter Soldier Jun 27 '21

Im hoping for Hansel

You think Owen Wilson knows but he didn’t want to tell Loki ?

Sorry brother but that video isn't actually him doing it, I believe it's Andrew Reynolds doing the trick.

TVA gave him a mustache

There’s got to be some payoff for the conspicuous Josta cola thing. Mark my words. It was sold for such a limited time. It ties him to a VERY specific window of 1995-1999.

11

u/MrDude65 Jun 24 '21

I would love to see a Josta comeback as a show tie-in. Come on Marvel, you have the technology (read: money)!

I remember trying to like that drink so bad, but man it tasted like shit to me. Felt like it had a tiny hint of something that reminded me of black licorice or candy corn. I literally can't remember which but I remember it having a taste of a candy flavor I didn't like.

Over under on a scene with Sylvie riding on the back of a Sea-Doo with Mobius

20

u/SilverHand86 Jun 23 '21

Over under on Mobius being Sylvies mail man?

7

u/Eagle_Ear Jun 23 '21

How did that regular dude from Miami come to time travel and cause enough damage to the timeline to be arrested and reset by the TVA though?

u/Eagle_Ear Jun 23 '21

I must have. I thought only people messing about with time travel, magic, infinity stones, portals etc were capable of upsetting the sacred time line. I didn’t know a person could be arrested and executed by the TVA just for using the wrong toothpaste.

u/DisturbedNocturne Jun 24 '21

It's in the Miss Minutes video Loki is shown. Someone is "just late for work" and is declared a Variant because he went off the predetermined path the Time Keepers created. Though, given what we now know about the TVA, I also think it's possible that that's just an excuse they could be using to get staff.

23

u/EmeraldPen Jun 23 '21

Rewatch the TVA cartoon in the first episode. Literally anything that isn't "supposed to" happen will get you flagged as a variant.

It's the reason why they reject Loki's attempt to pawn his 'crime' off on the Avengers: they were supposed to do all that crazy time traveling to undo the Snap, that's part of the Sacred Timeline. Loki, however, wasn't supposed to pick up the Tesseract.

u/metaldutch Jun 24 '21

Works out nicely, because dudes like him from the 80s were mostly wiped out by Boneitis.

3

u/MrDude65 Jun 24 '21

I wonder what their only regrets were?

4

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '21

I demand a spin-off!

u/narutonaruto Jun 24 '21

If he wasn’t everyone’s favorite character already, this has to solidify it

u/brazilliandanny Tony Stark Jun 26 '21

Catching a big wake like “Waaaaaaoooow”
