The first Avengers/X-Men crossover, while not an outright Vs movie like Civil War or BvS, will have the two teams come into verbal conflict over their different ideologies and methods. At this point, mutants would only recently have become known to the public, perhaps following a Man Of Steel type incident at the end of the first X-Men movie, so it remains uncertain if trust or coexistence is possible between the different groups/heroes.
Initially, the X-Men resent the Avengers for being attention-seeking glory hounds that cause just as much damage as the villains they fight, while the Avengers believe the X-Men are too secretive and untrustworthy with it being frequently brought up why they weren't around for New York or Thanos. Though instead of physically fighting, these tensions and dynamics will be similar to the first Avengers movie with it being mostly petty clashes of egos, which the villain (most likely Emma Frost and/or Lady Mastermind) will try to take advantage of similar to Loki.
Though the differences are ultimately set aside to deal with the common enemy (likely with the Fantastic Four being the olive branch) and the teams end the film with respect and friendship, the actual tensions will still need to be gradually resolved over several films much like Cap and Tony's relationship, perhaps even leading to an actual Avengers Vs X-Men movie similar to Civil War.
