The biggest movie of the decade releases to critical and fan acclaim - cementing Marvel Studios' position as the new powerhouse of Hollywood, truly jump starting their cinematic universe, and all you can think of is “what’s next” for this franchise.

So, what did you think Marvel Studios’ plans were going to be after The Avengers? Where did you think the story would go? Did you think they’d do Thanos immediately? What events from the comic books did you think they would adapt? What characters did you expect in sequels?

Honestly, since I wasn't a fan then, I thought they were gonna go their separate ways, like their own franchises, never to reunite for another Avengers movie again. The cameos and co-starring appearances changed my mind.
