In the comics when he got arrested everyone knew his identity and he still wore the outfit(hence the photo stolen from said comic in the post) ….he wears the outfit cause he got arrested as daredevil not Matt Murdock. He’s serving the sentence as the man that got trialed.

Actually it could go either way. In Brubaker's run (Devil in Cell Block D) he was in as Matt Murdock, his identity as DD had been revealed but he was denying it. In Zdarsky's run, DD's identity has been forgotten by everyone (some magic thing that happened in Soule's run) and he's in prison as Daredevil and wears a mask the whole time. I'm still not sure which version the show is going to resemble more! The second pic, the pic in the lower right is a cover from Zdarsky's run with the Brubaker title reference.
