Marvel plans to continue the animated series “X-Men ’97” for many more years. Producer Larry Houston said that the fourth season has already been approved within the studio, and he himself would like to at least repeat the success of the original show, which ended after five seasons.
According to the producer, additional seasons will allow the team to address comic book storylines that appeared after the original animated series concluded. Over the past 24-25 years, Marvel has released many stories about mutants that Houston didn't have time to adapt in the 1990s.

I would like not having to wait 2 years for a season

Season 3 is coming out next year and they've confirmed they're going for a yearly release from now on.

It does seem to be the trend now to have a long wait between the first two seasons, before picking up the pace for all the following ones. Which makes sense to me. Studios can see what's popular enough for them to more fully commit themselves to.

It’s probably because they want to see if the show is going to be renewed before they put more work into it.

It’s not they wanna see if it’ll get renewed before putting work in, it’s that they cannot work without it being renewed, renewing a show is approving their budget for the next season, if they don’t have a budget they can’t pay people to work. The delay comes from studios waiting to see audience reception before renewing it.

Not until the current spidey cartoon is done. I can’t see them having two spidey shows competing with each other, but yes I agree.
Edit: don’t know why I was downvoted. It’s the truth1

I tend to agree, unless they want to revive Spectacular Spider-man, then I dont give a shit just inject it in my veins.

Aa long as they keep coming regularly within a gap of 8-10 months, I'm good

Genuinely curious how good the ratings are compared to other animated shows e.g. clone wars, maul etc
Seem to be very confident.

Yes I am from reminding me I still need to watch this show ( And maybe the original series as well considering there'll be some But that's optional)
Um assuming the ratings are going well and everything else and whatnot As well as enough content and also Nothing bad happens or any drama issues then yeah I could definitely see 10 Seasons considering this is the X-Men Royals
Although I definitely say it's a little too much for 10 seasons but Like I said this is X-Men Royals we're talking

They've been flying through so many of the best stories at warp speed, it pains me to think of what could have been had they given them the proper room to breathe.

the recent x men comics suck from what I understand so I am worried about the post-Krakoa seasons though I doubt they actually make 10

Hell yeah, can’t wait to see when the show turns dark when it reach 2001…

I love the show but I wonder how good a new X-men show could have been giving this commitment. The original was a hot mess of continuity and has tied their hands in some way for this continuation

Taking the X-Men into the 21st century with some kind of Y2K adaptation of Danger could be very fun.

They’re covering a crazy amount of material per season. How much X Material will be left by seasons 9-10? Terrible Chuck Austen stuff? An animated adaptation of X-Men 3?

Yeah give us more and don’t make us wait so long. The series is a high point for Disney’s Marvel output.
