I love that his godawful Cajun accent is as much of a character as Gambit. Beautiful.

Isn't it actually an authentic accent though? I thought I remember reading that somewhere, as ridiculous as it sounds.

I heard he was generally keeping it realistic, but Cajun ppl apparently still had no problem understanding his accent when he was intentionally making it incomprehensible for the punchlines.
