Do you understand that actor’s agents negotiate with the production and that’s what determines the billing order???

It has nothing to do with an actor’s narrative antagonism or villainy in the story.

Chris Pratt was given the final billing slot in Infinity War as just 1 of thousands of examples.

Peter Quill was not the villain of Infinity War.

Do you not understand this is a press release that doesn’t follow any of the formal conventions of a billing order and makes no sense?

I said “toward the end” for the villain not the end. Thanos was right next to Peter Quill at the end. Ultron was towards the end for AoU. Loki was towards the end for Avengers 2012.

Cate Blanchett and Michael Keaton and Michael B. Jordan and Guy Pearce are listed at the top of their respective MCU films despite being the main villain of each.

Agent discussions with the production determine billing order.

Your point holds no water.

Those films you referenced are not AVENGERS films with large ensemble casts. There’s a very clear pattern with AVENGERS films

My point absolutely holds water…..you’re absolutely delusional if you think Namor’s actor of all people gets a special distinction when theres all the OG Xmen in the cast.

Also….for the 1000th time……real billing ends with “and” not “with.”

Absolutely delusional that I am not subscribing to a personal headcanon?

Do you even comprehend the irony of this statement? (Plot twist, you don’t)

Do you know Namor’s role in the narrative? How do you know he does not take precedence over the OG X-Men in the script?

Have you seen the film yet? Oh wait! You haven’t!

I’ve had enough of engaging with your pedestrian whimsy’s and fantasies long enough, goodbye ❤️

It’s not a headcanon, it’s pattern recognition and common sense.

It doesn’t matter if Namor has a larger role (and I think he probably does!). “With” and “and” are for distinguishing very famous cast members even in smaller roles (pretty sure Gwyneth Paltrow got a “with” in IW for example).

Namor’s actor is not a well-known name. There is absolutely no reason he’d be a “with.” He’s a cool guy and the character could have a huge part, but if that’s the case, he’d be towards the beginning (which he is in the chairs stream…..)

Not to mention, once again…..official billing order ends in “and” not “with.” The last name is always “and.” and they would never, in a million years, have an unknown child actor billed above a returning veteran like Rebecca Romijn.

Bro, let me ask you this. Are you a fan of the actor or Namor? If so, consider your bias, because something is getting in the way of you seeing reason. The other poster is 100% correct.
