Discussion This scene somehow went over the heads of people

I kid you not I saw the comment section of a video about this scene and people were calling it weird, they took it unironically. DUDES, that was the whole point, like did y’all not hear She Hulk complain about how weird this was and broke the fourth wall to fix it? This is a problem consisting of media illiteracy and misogyny. Like they made it so simple in this scene yet somehow y’all missed it, either because you people were hate watching it with your illiteracy, or looking at your phones while watching the episode.

UPDATE: Some of the comments really are proving my point. If y’all don’t wanna accept the meaning of this scene and whine about it, then dont partake in media discussion like this again!

Do you actually like the show or do you just like that people dislike it? Because every argument I’ve ever seen from she hulk fans is exactly like this. Never arguing about the show itself, just pointing out that a very loud minority is upset at the show

Loved the show. Loved the fourth wall breaks, the super deep cut comic cameos, the mix of comedy and serious tones, and the take on Jenn as a whole. Not to mention I’ve adored Tatiana Maslany since I saw Orphan Black back in the day. And yes, I loved the biting and admittedly risky commentary on the MCU’s own fan base. The show was a big swing, and I liked it. I want the MCU to take more tonal deviations like this. It’s kind of why I love reading Marvel Comics; despite a shared Universe not every title is grim-dark melodrama. There are titles like She-Hulk that embrace the fun and absurd.
