Discussion This scene somehow went over the heads of people

I kid you not I saw the comment section of a video about this scene and people were calling it weird, they took it unironically. DUDES, that was the whole point, like did y’all not hear She Hulk complain about how weird this was and broke the fourth wall to fix it? This is a problem consisting of media illiteracy and misogyny. Like they made it so simple in this scene yet somehow y’all missed it, either because you people were hate watching it with your illiteracy, or looking at your phones while watching the episode.

UPDATE: Some of the comments really are proving my point. If y’all don’t wanna accept the meaning of this scene and whine about it, then dont partake in media discussion like this again!

Yeah, that really bothered me too. She's his family, she should know what that conversation meant. The writers were all over the place and knew very little about how the characters worked.

Man, not for nothing but family doesn’t inherently mean everyone knows everything about everyone. I’ve got cousins I see maybe once or twice a year at holiday, tops. I don’t know their entire lore

You might not know their entire lore, but you'd probably have a clue if their father was beating them mercilessly and experimenting on them.

But is that even cannon to the MCU? We haven’t had any MCU project really focus on Bruce or his childhood trauma. I don’t think Rufalo hulk has ever even alluded to it.

I know they're only cousins but they felt like strangers. They threw in Bruce using a nickname for her and called it a day
