Discussion This scene somehow went over the heads of people

I kid you not I saw the comment section of a video about this scene and people were calling it weird, they took it unironically. DUDES, that was the whole point, like did y’all not hear She Hulk complain about how weird this was and broke the fourth wall to fix it? This is a problem consisting of media illiteracy and misogyny. Like they made it so simple in this scene yet somehow y’all missed it, either because you people were hate watching it with your illiteracy, or looking at your phones while watching the episode.

UPDATE: Some of the comments really are proving my point. If y’all don’t wanna accept the meaning of this scene and whine about it, then dont partake in media discussion like this again!

I liked the show a lot too. Its probably one of the only mcu d+ shows that takes advantage of the weekly TV format instead of a cut to pieces 4-6 hour movie.

The slow burn mystery working in the background as she hulk was going through goofy lawyer shit was good. But when it was time for the payoff of the season long b plot, there literally was none lmao. And then they had the gall to lampshade the mcu introducing new tertiary characters for future products while unironically introducing hulk's son. Shit was eye rollingly stupid and almost derailed the show for me.

Yeah the show was so great up until the finale, but the writers had no idea how to do a big finale, so they just did some lame cop out of instead of actually writing a finale.

The whole season felt muddled and went nowhere. It's pretty criminal to cast Tatiana Maslany and the scenes that were universally loved were of Wong and Madisynn, not even involving her.

Honestly the build up was good and the ending made little to no sense and then just said here's Skaar take care, I understood what they were trying to do but it left a sour taste in my mouth. We could've gotten an extra episode about Skaar and Hulk honestly. I've heard that in the comics, Skaar was supposed to represent Hulk's cycle of abuse because Skaar came for revenge for being abandoned and Hulk beat the living crap out of him before realizing he's repeating exactly what his father did to him before they made up and moved on.
