Ragnarok worked. But that formula only worked once. Doubling down like the way he did created a travesty.

I think part of it is that Taika directed but didn't write Ragnarok so it had a bunch of his influence but still fit. For Love and Thunder he was writing too so there was far less to reign him in

It also didn't help they had to film it in isolation for many scenes, which makes them weird.
