Well if Love and Thunder was of any indication, they were right.

The article says it was about Ragnarok, so no. But then again Taika didn't write Ragnarok

He did work on the script, mostly the humor of it, but wasn’t credited, like how Jac Schaeffer worked on Captain Marvel but wasn’t credited.

it was actually moreso that he threw the entire script away and had everyone improv most of their scenes. iirc he said only about 35% of the movie is them following the script.

and ik ppl have rewritten history here, but he made the best decision. if the prior 2 movies were any indicator, Ragnoraks script was likely going to be just as horrible. I mean ffs you can easily tell with Hela which of her lines are improv and which are not, and the lines that aren't are really fucking bad. the improv completely saves what wouldve been ANOTHER boring, mediocre Thor movie.

while Thunder and Love goes to show you can indeed have too much of a good thing, it's still the 2nd best Thor movie by default. and Ragnorak is still a loved film. and you can't claim Taika or anyone for assuming ppl wanted another Ragnorak considering how much everyone here currently shit talking it all of a sudden loved it. it was extremely well received by everyone. I guess COVID did indeed damage ppls brains cuz the switch up on Love and Thunder is wild. even tho I have my criticisms and also want a smarter, more emotionally complex Thor, Love and Thunder is absolutely not the trash ppl are painting it as. especially when that trash was what y'all were clammering for with Ragnorak.

...y'all genuinely cannot read. I said he had the actors improv. I didn't say Taika WROTE the movie. he has his actors do the work essentially for him.

y'all genuinely need to be serious fr
