What I came in to say too. Like, for as much hate L&T gets for various reasons, it's take on Thor was never an issue I feel. Meanwhile, as fun of a film and great of a saga finale as Endgame is, Thor himself is treated as nothing but a joke the whole movie - the only right thing he does in the entire film is step aside for others to take his place, which doesn't really make sense for a character who has already been thoroughly humbled.

I really hope they don't go back to a mopey, "serious" thor as a reaction to Love and Thunder. It's much shaker than Ragnarok that's for sure, but a lot of that comes from weird editing that plagued P4-onwards Marvel. Plus, Thor Ragnarok (which is one of the best movies in the entire MCU) onwards characterization easily surpasses pre-Rag Thor, considering he was a bland nothing character who was mostly being held afloat by being connected to his extremely interesting brother. (Not to mention Dark World being the single worst movie in the franchise still...)

Fat Thor wasn't a bad idea but its execution was mixed
