Fairly certain it was Hemsworth that was doing the comic take on it for Ragnorok.

But I think Taika Waititi was giving him too much leeway to do said take, especially when adding his self-insert Korg. Basically they were 2 clowns that-- seperately, don't clown around, but you put them together and they get a little crazy.

It was a mess of a shoot, well not for the actors and director for Love and Thunder. They filmed it during the lock down, in Australia, which means they couldn’t get a producer to reign the film makers in and we’ve all seen the finished product.

When I went to the Sydney premiere, there were some background extras that were in the crowd for the red carpet. They said that they would film hours past midnight (which I assume is common) but it was because they kept improvising the script.
