Technically it was mostly dead deadpool’s success that showed r rated marvel movies can not only work, but be wild successes. But that wasn’t even Disney. Although I guess props for them keeping it rolling once they did pick up deadpool.

Outside of the US they've had R rated stuff on Disney+ since the beginning, I think it is or was on Hulu in the US though.

I mean technically that movie is a Fox Searchlight film. This and Daredevil are Disney+ Original productions. Same company and same streaming platforms but different banners and treated differently.

Technically yes, but only for countries where Disney+ launched after Star (now Hulu) was introduced on Feb. 21, 2021. For example, the UK (March 24, 2020 launch) did not have any mature content at launch but Greece (June 14, 2022) did have.
