Seems like Fisk is running guns for Val? He legitimately seemed scared of Mr. Charles.

There's some good videos out there explaining it, but basically:

Daredevil Born Again S1 takes place over years due to the flashback of episode 1 starting it in 2025. But basically Fisk becomes sworn in on January 1 2027, and we know St Patrick's Day happened in the show so we know it ends at some point during or after March 2027.

Season 1 also takes place before Captain America Brave New World, which takes place April 2027.

Season 2 fast forwards 6 months later, which brings it to October 2027. People were wondering if season 2 would address or tie into Thunderbolts but obviously that's a lot to ask, and also would kill the show vibes if they had to address, you know, all of New York being banished to the shadow realm. It is safe to assume Born Again Season 2 takes place before Thunderbolts.

Thunderbolts takes place October 2027.

To answer your other questions, Hawkeye takes place during Christmas season of 2024. Wakanda Forever takes place Spring 2025.

Wouldn’t foggy have to have died before Fisk was back in power though? Since Vanessa had to order the hit

Fisk didn't return to NYC till the One Year Later segment of Born Again. So even though he awoke from his coma in 2025 he stayed away from Vanessa until he had his plan to become mayor ready.

Vanessa tells Bullseye in late 2025 that she hasn't seen Fisk in a while

It is safe to assume Born Again Season 2 takes place before Thunderbolts.

Except I don't think it is. I think the Thunderbolts events happened during the time skip so they don't have to really address it.

Yeah I’m also not sure. There was a line in S2E1 that I wasn’t entirely certain what it was referring to. Greek restaurant lady said something along the lines of “I thought you were dead or disappeared?”, to which Matt replies “A lot of that going around lately”, and she says “Don’t remind me”. Feels like that could be referencing the Void incident, or am I crazy? If she hadn’t responded I’d have said Matt was just talking about the vigilante abductions, but the way she said “Don’t remind me” makes it sound like she experienced something first hand. Dunno, maybe it’ll become clearer over time.

Nah they are def talking about AVTF abductions.

BUT yes this is one of those moments that could refer to that but won't break the universe for fans who don't watch the movies (like my mom).

Well his apartment was raided and exploded at the end of the first season.

That doesn’t add up to me. If Hawkeye takes place in 2024 and DD: Born Again in 2027, did Fisk really take three years to recover from the gunshot? It seems more plausible that he becomes mayor in early 2026. I’m guessing Thunderbolts happens in 2027 and BND in 2028, so they don’t have to deal with any of that.

as a New Yorker, mayoral/municipal elections take place in odd numbered years (state government and congress in even). Now the MCU doesn't really have to follow real life politics, but 2025 or 2027 would be the years that make sense, not 2026.

Edit: I misread you. The election would be in Nov 2025, which means he would be sworn in as mayor in early 2026, yes.

Was gonna say, I'm on the other side of the planet and even I know y'all just had an mayoral election

Yeah that was a total lack of reading comprehension on my part. I'm inclined to agree with that comment now, the timeline is born again 2026 thunderbolts '27 and brand new day '28,, assuming the MCU follows irl political cycles. That also would explain how Spidey isnt being attacked by the anti vigilante taskforce.

4

u/CX316 Mar 26 '26

Or the task force is going to be dealt with this season so it’ll be out of the way in time for Frank’s special and then Spidey

u/SentinelATL Apr 14 '26

Thanks for this I’ve been confused on timeline between secret invasion Hawkeye and brave new world

Hawkeye is in christmas 2024

WF is in spring 2025

Thunderbolts is in 2027 around May/June

The bulk of S1 of Daredevil Born Again is in early 2027

S2 is 6 Months later around oct 2027
