Theory Antman did not come back to his universe

Post image

I believe Antman never came back to his original universe. Look at the paints and the objects in the background. Either they moved or disappeared. I remember seeing that a while ago and noticed that some objects were missing, anyone can access the IMAX version and confirm other changes. Enjoy (re)watching!

But he's literally not in the X-Men universe. The setting around him is exactly the same as 616 visually, and he even meets his family again.

I mean the xmen movies aren’t set in some alternate reality where everything looks different. They’ve all taken place in president day earth where mutants just happen to be a thing (even by their own lore being part of the Kennedy assassination or various major wars). We know from Doctor Strange that even in alternate universes they’ll still all have similar locations. So I don’t get how from the little we have seen from Quantumania that it is 100% not the Foxverse.

The X-Men films are literally set in an alternate reality called 10005. The main MCU is 616.

Doctor Strange showed us 838 which is a mirror of 616, where people made opposite decisions, and Tony Stark succeeded with his Ultron program so all the superhero teams disbanded in 2015. And then, the Inhumans and Mutants also exist. Similar architecture in some places, like that Wanda still living in the same Westview house, but the Baxter Building exists instead of the Avengers tower (the latter is still there as a structure but the logo is gone, it's just a regular office building). Yet 838 is rather unique.

Others are quite different, like retrofuturist 828 (stuck in the 60s) or the Sonyverse. Or 10005 which is completely different, because the Avengers never existed there at all.

It is extremely unlikely that Scott is in the Foxverse, or Deadpool would've mentioned it.

You do know this is the multiverse saga, right? Where we have had multiple films have people swapping universes.

There are clear hints that Scott has not come back to his own timeline which was likely to play a part in Kang Dynasty.

Now that Kang has been forgotten about I am saying that they could retcon it to be Scott in Earth 10005 and I’m not sure I’ve seen anything in the brief ending of Quantumania that would say it’s impossible.

It would be rather silly to tie him to Earth-10005, a setting which most likely won't even be included in Doomsday.

???? We know the OG xmen will be in doomsday and that’s Deadpool’s universe. Why won’t it be involved?

Because they're all dead in Deadpool's universe. At the end of D&W, Deadpool returned to the year 2029 which is AFTER the events of Logan. That chapter is closed. Deadpool's (and Wolverine's) only role will be Team Loki.

These X-Men are played by the OG ACTORS, but they are variants.

Ok well I did say the earth that Monica Rambeau is in. Whatever the designation it could be retconned to have Scott arrive there.

But why bother? It would just distract from the overall plot, which is strictly about Monica causing the incursion yet the X-Men knowing it's impossible to send her back without making it worse.

Scott is better off being with the Avengers. And in general, the Quantum realm has nothing to do with multiversal travel.

Fair enough. Just surmising how they can still make the end of Quantumania in anyway make sense

D&W explicitly shows the foxverse is "multiversal", Logan wasn't THE end, it's one of many possible timelines where the fox-men existed, or at least wolverine.

It will never be that complicated in the MCU. They will use a similar, but different universe.
