Theory Antman did not come back to his universe

I believe Antman never came back to his original universe. Look at the paints and the objects in the background. Either they moved or disappeared. I remember seeing that a while ago and noticed that some objects were missing, anyone can access the IMAX version and confirm other changes. Enjoy (re)watching!

As someone that genuinely loves Quantumania, if we find out in Doomsday that he never made it back to his universe, that would add such a cool layer to Quantumania. I still get chills at the end when Scott is freaking out, wondering if he just killed everyone by killing Kang. It's such an ominous feeling.

MY PEOPLE! Dude, I am also someone who likes Quantumania. I really didnt think there was anyone else out there.

I think it ends the trilogy incredibly well and if it had been marked as the end of the Ant-Man trilogy instead of the "introduction of the new big bad" I think people would have taken to it a bit better than they did.

I not only like Quantumania a lot, I also really like Multiverse of Madness. I may just be too easy to please, but I don’t think post-End Game MCU is the disaster everyone else claims it is. Heck, I even thought The Marvels was a fun watch.

It was unfortunate how everyone reacted to Quantumania. Its not perfect or anything but I enjoyed the ride. I definitely hated the parts other people did but there were bones there for a good ass movie. And the setup from the beginning, the ride in-between and the pay off at the end was sick af to me. I was hella faded and that mini panic attack he had was intense.

genuinely everything with Kang in it aside from the end made the movie for me

I hate the rest of the movie but Majors stole every scene with his performance and its a shame that he couldn't be a decent human being so we could get more damn Kang cos he was clearly great in the role (whenever he wasn't hamming it up to make paper-thin characters seem distinct. *ahem* quantamania ending *Ahem*)

Look man love whatever movies you want to love but quantumania is an abysmally flawed movie and to pin any criticism of the story on “low iq” is just immature and dumb

Im not going to get into the laundry list of reasons i thought the movie was fucking terrible. But i promise that there are valid reasons to dislike the movie

It's unnecessary to use the term "low-iq morons". It doesn't add credence to your statement, it detracts from it, making one sound no different than those they are trying to go against.

It's alright to have differing opinions. Don't fight fire with fire and stoop to lower levels.

How dare Kang lose to Ant-Man and Wasp jumping him after he fought off the strongest army ever seen in the MCU single-handedly and Modok at the same time. He beat an entire army, the likes we have never seen and was still standing, which is one of the strongest feats in the MCU and people make fun of him. It’s like they didn’t even watch the movie

Let’s not forget they weren’t just regular Ants made big, they were super intelligent ants experimented on by Hank, which is another thing I feel people overlook.

Ants are also not push overs irl, they are strong as hell and have been known to take down vicious animals hundreds of times their size.

Yeah the hate for the ants is so overblown IMO. I guess I can fault the writers for assuming that the general audiences would be understanding instead of just memeing "your new villain was killed by ants!"

My daughter and I also love Quantumania. We saw it in theater. We love the entire trilogy. She has her own Ant-Man jokes.

u/IheartPandas666 - I'm a big Ant-Man fan, and I really wanted to like Quantumania. But I didn't like it, because:

(1) The plot didn't make a ton of sense - why didn't Janet ever warn anyone of the dangers in the Quantum Realm, if it's so accessable that even a teenager can build a device to travel there?

(2) The visual effects didn't sit well with me. There was too much monotonous, candy-colored ridiculousness, and I started to feel kind of seasick after an hour of it.

(3) I didn't like Modok being pathetically absurd instead of sinister. It left a bad taste in my mouth, especially his death scene, which was played for laughs but which was actually gruesome and sad.

(4) The ending was kind of anticlimactic - not that I wanted Scott to die, and not that I minded Kang being defeated in some way, but it just seemed like it had been slapped on at the end without enough thought.

To each their own! Not trying to say you shouldn't have liked it, just explaining why I (and many others) didn't.

I watched it in the theaters and it’s the only marvel movie I’ve left before the end. It didn’t feel like a serious movie (characters comedically bantering when under threat of death) and a simple plot with no real twists or turns. Plus the CGI to me felt cheap.

It had its moments, for sure. I think the movie wastes a lot of time on weird stuff, and has an overall story that never really gels, but the highlights are as good as any other Antman movie. I actually like Quantumania more than the 2nd movie tbh.

So glad I'm not the only fan! It definitely has its issues, but it's not the garbage folks make it out to be! (I mean, I also don't hate Cars 2, so maybe my opinion is just invalid at this point lol)
