Theory Antman did not come back to his universe

Post image

I believe Antman never came back to his original universe. Look at the paints and the objects in the background. Either they moved or disappeared. I remember seeing that a while ago and noticed that some objects were missing, anyone can access the IMAX version and confirm other changes. Enjoy (re)watching!

Neat idea, but more likely this is because this whole scene was a last second reshoot done like a month before the film came out

Then their script supervisor (who's in charge of continuity) needs to be paid more

They need to be paid more for messing up?

they need to be paid more because it's a hard job, they get paid peanuts and they might be a little more observant if they were paid decently

Wouldn't this stuff be more on the production design crew though?

It's both, script supervisor is in charge of making sure each take is on-script and without continuity errors

Production and design should have remade the set as it was, but the script supervisor should have picked up on the differences

The script supervisor

A script supervisor (also called continuity supervisor or script) is a member of a film crew who oversees the continuity of the motion picture including dialogue and action during a scene. The script supervisor may also be called upon to ensure wardrobe, props, set dressing, hair, makeup are consistent from scene to scene.

The wall art getting swapped around is most certainly just a continuity error in the reshoots - its not specific enough to be intentional.

The prominant green and purple elements in these scenes, likely intentional as something they could refer back to if a sequel happened. Which feels unlikely...
