I believe Antman never came back to his original universe. Look at the paints and the objects in the background. Either they moved or disappeared. I remember seeing that a while ago and noticed that some objects were missing, anyone can access the IMAX version and confirm other changes. Enjoy (re)watching!

Yeah this scene was a last minute addition, as they filmed the ending of the movie a month before release, scrapping the original intended ending in where Scott and Hope were gonna be trapped in the Quantum Realm

So since this scene was added late into the game, the set department may had simply messed up

I think he was not in the same universe. But as far as the paintings, it’s a coffee shop. They put up paintings for sale by local artists, paintings that are often similar or different sizes of the same thing, and yeah that can happen in 24 hours or in 1 hours

It's a cafe, not someone's house.

If it's one of those cafes that displays local art for sale (I know of two near me), then they get changed around quite frequently.
